Let's make today count for a greener tomorrow! 🌳

BACIWA MANGROVE GROWING ACTIVITY: Roma Beach, Brgy. Punta Taytay
Amidst the tranquil shores of Roma Beach, Brgy. Punta Taytay, BACIWA, together with the enthusiastic YES-O members from Luis Hervias National High School and the dedicated representatives of Negros Prawn Producers Cooperative, united for a meaningful Mangrove Growing Activity earlier today.

Spearheaded by our SCRO Dennis Secong and supported by the Board & Management Office, GM’s Office and other personnel, it was a lovely, fruitful and productive morning.

With an eager hand and hearts brimming with determination, we planted the propagules and seedlings of change, not just in the soil, but in the minds of our community. Through this collaborative effort, we aim to protect our coastal ecosystems, mitigate climate change, and foster a deeper appreciation for nature’s gifts.

Our General Manager, Mona Dia G. Jardin always remind us that as we witness these mangroves take root, let us also plant the seeds of stewardship in our hearts, nurturing them with care and dedication.

Together, we can cultivate a sustainable future, where nature thrives, and communities flourish.
